“ Overall good customer service and food. The server was but a bit short when I asked about the menu items. She just pointed at the menu and left. The food was serve promptly. We ordered the Red Iguana platter which was good except the enchiladas tasted a little bitter and the steak dish was also good but a bit salty. Loved the strawberry margaritas and the flan with strawberries was excellent! ”

It was my 3rd time here and is a must-visit everytime I'm in SLC! I dont think there's a bad choice when it comes to the food. My party of 15 were all happy with their choices! More than a server, she felt like a house hostess, checking on us with genuine care. For her, making sure we were happy wasn’t just service — it was a mission. I had one of their famous mole dishes (unforgettable), and my wife had the chicken quesadilla, which was perfectly cooked and generously filled. “ I highly recommend you request a mole sampler! You can then find your favorite mole. The tacos as the main course were a favorite, our waiter also recommended them and thought they were a great choice. He was right. The dessert was fairly priced and definitely large enough to split. The decorations all matched the aesthetic they were going for. The restaurant is a little small and was already packed by 6pm for dinner on a Tuesday night. The area the restaurant is around I would describe as sketchy, and leaning towards future gentrification. I highly recommend coming here for food, you will love the flavors they provide and will leave with a fully belly. ”
“ Looked up best restaurants in SLC and this was number one on a lot of websites. We went on a Saturday evening and there was a wait for a seat. It was short though, about 10 minutes. The host is outside the restaurant so you’ll check in with them and then wait outside to be called in. The food was amazing. The queso dip was some of the best. I had the king prawns and they were extremely filling! I couldn’t finish it all in a sitting. Their famous mole was also delicious. Our waiter was super fast and friendly. For such a busy restaurant the food came out in record time. Our appetizer came out in 10 minutes and the food about 3 minutes after that. The food was amazing. No wonder this place is crowded 24/7. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for Mexican food in SLC. ”
